An exceptional home & location for your thoughts & consideration. This home has so many positives for the discerning buyer, plus the myriad of natural wonders available in Lubec & surrounding area. It starts with the beauty of Bailey's Mistake, & the deeded access to Wallace Cove for picnics, swimming, & enjoying that comes with the home, as well as the waterview from the home. A great place to venture forth from to enjoy Roosevelt International Park just a short distance away on Campobello Island (in Canada) across the bridge from downtown Lubec. Another wonderful plus in the area is the entity calls Cobscook Bay Shores, Inc, which is a series of hiking trails, picnic areas, canoe & kayak launch areas, & just beautiful scenery that has been created privately for the public's enjoyment (really a can't miss for the outdoorsperson). For the photography enthusiasts, we have Quoddy Head State park with our iconic candy striped lighthouse, as well as several hiking trails to enjoy for most skill levels. In downtown Lubec, we have Stockford Park for relaxing, and sitting on the rocks or in your vehicle watching the many harbor seals cavorting in the channel, and further out in the channel, of course, we have the 'Sparkplug' lighthouse, as well.
