Making a Difference: Mid-Coast REALTORS® Give Back to the Community
At Dwelling in Maine, we believe that a thriving community is built on the collective efforts of individuals and organizations coming together for a common cause. That's why we're thrilled to share some incredible news about how local REALTORS® are making a real difference in Midcoast Maine.

The Mid-Coast Board of REALTORS®, in collaboration with the Maine Association of REALTORS® (MAR), proudly awarded grants to deserving organizations in 2024. Thanks to tireless fundraising efforts and a generous matching grant from MAR, these funds will support local nonprofits that are truly changing lives.

2024 Grant Recipients

The following organizations from the Pen Bay Council were selected for their outstanding contributions to our community:

• AIO Food and Energy Assistance: Helping families stay warm, fed, and supported during challenging times.

• Homeworthy: Breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness in Midcoast Maine through innovative support and resources.

• New Hope Midcoast: Providing critical services and support for individuals creating pathways to safety from domestic abuse and violence.

• Midcoast Habitat for Humanity: Building strength, stability, and self-reliance through safe and affordable shelter.

A Community Effort
These grants wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible fundraising efforts of the Mid-Coast Board of REALTORS® and the support of the MAR matching grant. Together, they’ve enabled these local organizations to continue their vital work, helping to strengthen the heart of our community.
